3M™ Thinsulate™ is a unique non-woven acoustic absorber composed of polyester and polypropylene fibers. The polypropylene fibers are extremely fine, producing a high-energy absorption characteristic with low weight. The polyester fibers are added to strengthen the web, while the scrim protects and contains the fibers. The fine microfibers absorb high frequency noise, and the thicker fibers provide recovery and loft. It is compressible, lightweight, and conformable.

Time or Money?
It worked perfectly for my situation. The cheaper option is to buy a 200$ roll, but I’m not sure that would even be enough. The extra cost to know im getting what I need and the countless hours it saved by not having to cut and fit each piece was well worth the cost of this kit. I will have this in an upcoming camper van upfit on my YouTube channel, “skippy rock”.
Exactly as described
Precut kit is a time saver, but I admit that a roll is cheaper and I think I would do that next time. The pieces are labeled and mostly fit without any fuss. Guide is easy to use. I bought a scrap bag too for the ribs and sections this kit doesn't cover. Overall satisfied but think I would buy a roll of I did this again.
